Song of Songs

I was at a conference four nights this week taught by Gary Weins on the extravagant love God has for YOU (and me) from the Song of Songs. One of the favorite quotes I heard, "Don't make sandwiches God didn't order." Man, it is good to be taught and reminded and encouraged and exhorted to imagine how much God loves us, his bride. Calling us, wooing us, delighting in us. Pretty awesome. A friend just bought me thebook, Bridal Intercession by Gary Wiens

Through exploring the Biblical paradigm of God's relationship as the Husband of His people, Gary Wiens draws his readers into an understanding of intimacy with Jesus as the foundation of effective prayer.) I am looking forward to reading it soon.
May God open our eyes to see, ears to hear and our hearts to his calling us to live our lives in extravagant worship of Jesus.
