Busier Than Usual

I have a great job. That is a given. There are times though, when we have an event or projects or people out for some reason or another and it makes the job a bit more complicated. Well, we had a major event, several special projects, my supervisor out of the office for two months, and our building maintenance person in the hospital for three weeks.... and things were definitely more complicated these past few weeks. One of the highlights was having the author of The Shack, W. Paul Young come to LHC to speak. He was a blessing to so many and a genuinely nice guy. The event itself was a job. So many people wanted to come hear him speak and so many people wanted to get cds of his speaking. Lots to do.
If you haven't gotten a chance to check out this book, do. It will get you to thinking. Check out the links:

So, a new week begins with my supervisor coming back full time, water heater on the baptistry replaced, most of the cds mailed out and directory printed! Should be a little more relaxed at work for awhile. Still have to deal with Yagba's wallet being stolen during the weekend conference...but hopefully God is already on that. Stay tuned.
